The Food Testing Centre of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) has awarded Hochland the PriMax 2008 award. The PriMax is one of the foremost company awards of the European dairy industry. It is awarded every year to selected quality manufactures of dairy products who have achieved outstanding results in the annually held DLG food tests. The prize was handed over at the DLG Food Congress which was held on October 8th - 9th in Frankfurt am Main and Bad Soden.

At the award ceremony, DLG President Carl-Albrecht Bartmer praised the award-winner’s outstanding quality standards: “Not only is the high quality of your products impressive, you have also created a distinctive profile within the foodstuffs market with your responsible and sustainable approach.

The DLG Food Test Centre has presented the PriMax award to a total of ten German and foreign companies in the dairy industry since 1998. The company award goes to specialists of the "White Line" (milk products) and the "Yellow Line" (cheese products). The award is based on the test results for products from DLG quality tests of dairy products in the year 2008. Hochland is receiving the renowned quality award for the ninth time this year, thereby highlighting its long-term quality leadership.
