Hochland receives certificate for its environmental efforts
For 15 years, Hochland has shown steady commitment for protecting the environment. In 1995, it was the first Bavarian company of the dairy industry to agree to implementing an environmental management system in accordance with the EU ecological audit laws. The environmental audit for EMAS certificate (EMAS = Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) has been successfully conducted.

Hochland to acquire a plant in Russia
The Hochland Russland OOO will acquire a plant of Dr. Oetker in Russia. The two contractual parties signed a letter of intent at the end of 2010. The transaction is to take effect as of July 2011 but is still subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.

Hochland among the best employers in Germany - Cheese manufacturer among Top Ten in the category "500 to 2000 members of staff"
Hochland Deutschland GmbH is among "Germany's best employers 2010". For the second time, Hochland attended the competition run by "Great Place to Work Institute Germany" and have landed on the list of "100 best companies to work for". The cheese manufacturer came 9th among the companies employing between 500 and 2000 members of staff.
